Primasol mandarin was developed in Italy by crossing Miho Wase satsuma with Carvalhais mandarin and is known as one of the earliest ripening varieties. It matures only a few days later than Okitsu, but still stands out as an early-season fruit. The trees are vigorous and productive, with young branches occasionally bearing thorns. Unlike some Satsuma types, Primasol does not suffer from puffiness (peel detachment), allowing the fruit to remain on the tree longer without losing quality.
