Native to the Gaziantep region, Antep Karası grapes stand out with their large, plump berries and authentic character. Harvest typically begins in the third week of August and continues until mid-October. The intense blue-black skin, sweet aromatic flavor, and resistance to cracking make this variety suitable for both fresh consumption and the production of traditional products such as pekmez (grape molasses) and bastık (fruit leather). With its distinctive qualities, Antep Karası also draws attention in export markets as a unique Turkish grape variety.
