Mild climate fruit grown since ancient times. The cultivated apple tree is medium in size or large. Crown height is 8-10 m, the width is 8-12 m. The branches open laterally. The tree becomes broad. Rather than going in a deep direction as in the crown, they spread broadly. There are no tap roots. Branches separate into two main groups as wood and fruit branches. In wood branches the internodes are long, in fruit branches they are generally shorter than wood branches.

Golden Delicious apples are pale green to golden yellow in color and speckled with small lenticels (spots). They are small to medium in size, and tend to be conical or oblong in shape. Golden Delicious apples are firm, crisp, and white-fleshed. These apples have a balanced sweet-tart aromatic flavor, which has been described as honeyed. The flavor varies depending on where these apples are grown. They also contain vitamins A and C, as well as a trace amount of boron and potassium, most of which is located in the apples skin.

Fruit is medium big. Its peel is dark red. Inside of apple is White color and fruit is sweet, hard, juicy and delicious. The Scarlet is one of the newer members of Red Delicious which are believed by many fruit growers to be one of the prettiest apples produced. Another reason for their dominance and longevity is the high antioxidant levels that naturally occur in the Red Delicious strain, including the Scarlet.

Granny Smith is much more easily preserved in storage than other apples, a factor which has greatly contributed to its success in export markets. The fruit is hard, with a light green skin and crisp, juicy flesh. The flavour is tart and acidic. It remains firm when baked, making it a very popular cooking apple used in pies, where it can be sweetened. Granny Smiths are naturally low in calories and high in dietary fiber and potassium, making them commonly recommended as a component of healthy and weight-loss diets.
